SERVICES > Feasibility Studies
Objective: Revealing potential donors and identifying a community's
inclination and ability to support the needs of a non-profit facility is
critical to the long term success of any capital effort. Each study provides
objective insight into the climate for fundraising by surveying internal
and external constituencies.
Elements of the Service
- Review of data and information on the organization/institution and the community it serves
- The objective of interviewing a total of 50-75 selected individuals through personal discussions and focus groups to provide substantial data on which to base conclusions and recommendations
- Interviews conducted in person when possible and by telephone if necessary
- Interviews with individuals, corporations, businesses and foundations who are potential contributors to the institution/organization
- A return visit and comprehensive report on findings and recommendations
Expected Outcome
The Study will identify in a very specific range the financial potential for
charitable support for a given project and cause. This would include an
organizational timetable, potential campaign/fundraising leadership,
prospective large donors, an evaluation of the organization's readiness to
conduct such an effort and the community's reception to specific
fundraising for a given organization. Also included would be
recommended staff and volunteer structure and methods which best
present the case for support to the community and individual prospective
donors.
