All sessions are eligible for continuing education points on your CFRE application for initial certification and/or recertification.

Donor Acquisition: Eye on the Prize - How to Get Someone to Make that First Gift

Securing that important and often difficult first gift is essential to sustaining a robust development program. Direct mail results are down, costs are up, and the promise of online giving has yet to be fulfilled. Nonetheless, donor acquisition remains a critical function. This one-hour online training session will take a look at creative and successful vehicles to grow your donor pool.

Sadie Wolf, Development Coordinator at Frederick Memorial Health System, in Frederick, MD, is our Special Guest Presenter for Donor Acquisition.

Half of Sadie Wolf’s 10 years in marketing communications has been devoted to healthcare philanthropy. In addition to her professional involvement, she volunteers for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, her local domestic violence shelter, and the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund. At FMH, Sadie has helped raise almost $55 million. She will earn her MBA in marketing in January.
