SERVICES > Prospect Assessment and Research
Objective: Identifying, researching and cultivating key prospects that
may have the ability, inclination or both to make a significant gift to a
client institution is becoming increasingly vital in today's competitive
philanthropic environment.
Elements of the Service
- Develop the prospect list by identifying and researching the best and most affluent prospects first, then gather specific information about those prospects
- Identify, qualify and engage prospective donors who may be able to "move up" in a significant way with a larger gift
- Focus on the overall foundation database to identify and gather information on prospective new major donors
- Pride staff will organize, script, prepare, and if needed, go with the team on the call to determine the prospective donor's interest in the organization and potential to make a substantial gift
Expected Outcome
This innovative, unique service provides an ongoing process of
identification, research, engagement, and cultivation of current donors and
prospective donors. By incorporating a comprehensive assessment process
that utilizes effective, streamlined research and interview techniques, the
organization will significantly expand its prospective donor base and
increase the number of prospects who are "ready to be asked". A
coordinated, focused approach to prospect assessment generates specific
useful information to position the client organization to make the most
effective presentations to their best prospects for the maximum gift amount. |
