- Gather and evaluate data and results on past and current marketing efforts
- Interview individuals within the institution and constituency involved in
marketing and outreach efforts (including but not limited to foundation,
marketing, public relations, employee relations and educational services)
regarding organizational objectives, scheduled activities and communication methodology
- Objectively assess current marketing efforts and provide detailed
comprehensive plan and techniques of expansion including specific
communication strategies, software and systems recommendations,
suggested timelines, budgetary needs, staff allocation of time and expected
results
- Assist in coordination of more interactive, user friendly website and other
online marketing tools. Options range from evaluation and suggested
revisions to creation and ongoing site management using industry best
practices and proven techniques
- Initiation, implementation and staff training on social marketing
mechanisms including but not limited to website coordination with
Facebook, Twitter and Blogs
- Quarterly review of effectiveness of online marketing programs (integration
analytics, database and donor growth and response in all implemented
programs)
Expected Outcome
The marketing plan will build upon the current marketing and communication
plan by identifying and subsequently incorporating an integrated and more
effective methodology for marketing the institution and its capital projects.
