SERVICES > Culture of Philanthropy Initiative
Objective: Established acceptance and active ambassadorship of a nonprofit
as a viable, worthwhile charitable entity by focusing on the internal
constituencies. We establish that perception through education and
participatory activities at a variety of levels. The programs start with a clear
and compelling message, incorporating the philanthropic value of the
organization, and are implemented in a way to proliferate that message into
the broader community.
Elements of the Service
- Orientation and presentations to the governing board and senior
administration
- Strategic implementation of charitable support programs generating
financial contributions from employees and other related constituencies
such as auxilians, physicians, and other ancillary groups.
- Develop specific printed and electronic communication vehicles to
support the implementation process
- Train staff and volunteer leadership to guide a successful effort into the
future
- Benchmarks for effective evaluation and expansion
- Reporting tools to communicate progress to all constituencies within an
organization
- Regular updates on the latest techniques from other successful nonprofit
organizations
Expected Outcome
An acceptance and thorough understanding of the organization as a valuable
asset, worthy of philanthropic support, is a result of the process. Through
education, volunteer opportunities, giving programs, and projects completed
through philanthropy, value is demonstrated to both internal and external
constituencies. Consistent communication and growth of charitable support
will not only demonstrate success, but also encourage charitable largesse
well into the future.
